As a Victim-Advocate, Melodie is committed to giving voice to victim-survivors of abuse as she stewards the disclosures and stories of abuse on behalf of clients. In 2022, Melodie received her doctorate at the University of Toronto. Her focus of her thesis was on nurturing the spiritual healing of victim-survivors of abuse.

“I lift you up and pray that you know that God has used you to be His arms here on this earth, as I have felt your warmth and security. The safety you have provided those who were hurting, the compassion you felt as you carried our stories, the love you demonstrated when we felt unlovable and righteous anger you have felt on behalf of each person you've walked with, is truly a gift that you may never understand this side of heaven. Thank you for the work you do.”
